Monday, June 28, 2010 I've been working on several new bags. This is the latest shoulder bag in my series inspired by the pieces from a thrift shop belt. The first two bags ("Beach Baby Ocean Blue" and "Saluti da Roma") were done in bright colors. This one is done in a soft light gray and is graced by another cool metal piece from the belt with the word
Manhattan written on it
. I have also used a recycled zipper as an embellishment on the front as well as the back pocket, which closes with a toggle. The lining is a beautiful red, gray and black cotton that I picked up on a trip to Hawaii.This is the new "Manhattan" bag!
