By creating a personalized handbag for you, we want to keep your leather garment's history alive by refashioning it into a useful piece of art that you will treasure for years to come.

I have received many questions concerning the steps involved in having a custom or keepsake bag made if you have your own leather, so I thought it would be helpful to list the steps here so you will have a better understanding of how it all works.

1. Contact me about having your custom bag made.  
2. I need to see either a back and front picture of your old leather garment, or you can send or bring it to me.  
3. We discuss your desires.  
4. After I see your garment, I can let you know the possibilities for your bag, keeping in mind your desires. I do my best to include everything that is important to you, keeping in mind that the lines and features of your original leather product will dictate the outcome to a great degree.  
5. When your bag is ready in approximately 2-4 weeks I will contact you and you can arrange payment. After payment is received I will send your bag to you, or if you live in the area, you may come and pick it up.  

Cost: Naturally you want to know how much all this is going to cost. Some people have asked if it will cost less when you are supplying your own materials. The actual cost is based upon the time it will take me to design and make the bag. I take great care with each one and feel a great sense of responsibility in making something that you will truly treasure. Since each bag is unique, it is impossible for me to give an exact quote until I know how long I think it will take to make your bag. However, you can take a look at the prices of different bags on my website to get a rough idea of how much the type of bag you have in mind is selling for. There will be an up-charge for the custom service to be added to the website prices, depending upon the size of your bag. I will be happy to discuss any and all of this with you as you consider having your bag made. I hope that this will help you get started.

We will do our best to repurpose your leather garment into something that you will love and be proud to carry. Personalized handbag orders are considered final sales and cannot be returned or exchanged except for minor repairs within 14 days of receiving your handbag.
